MEANINGFUL RESEARCH & TREND ANALYSIS.

MEANINGFUL RESEARCH & ANALYSIS.

Each project starts with in depth research to ensure that the schemes delivered resonate with the consumer and complete the brand experience. By gaining an in-depth knowledge of the end user I can confidently deliver proven design directions with longevity.

Each project starts with in depth research to ensure that the schemes delivered resonate with the consumer and complete the brand experience. By gaining an in-depth knowledge of the end user I can confidently deliver proven design directions with longevity.

Integral to my practice, research is always ongoing, with regular visits to trade, design and art shows, conferences and talks. I see it first!

ENGAGING & EMOTIVE COLOUR SCHEMES.

Tailored colour schemes, bringing brands to life with insightful and empathetic colour choices.

I understand that colour isn’t just an aesthetic preference but can change a consumer’s whole experience. I aim to create thoughtful, complimentary colour palettes to enhance spaces, enrich design and capture the brand.

MATERIAL & FINISH DESIGN.

I can create truly bespoke material and finish palettes.

My relationships with suppliers are so important to me. Years of industry experience enable me to make intelligent material and finish selections AND develop unique materials and finishes.

An intimate knowledge of materials, certification and compliance ensure that these selections are responsible, fit for purpose and will stand the test of time – while exceeding consumer expectations.

BESPOKE PATTERN DESIGN.

I design bespoke patterns that can become integral to a brands identity and can develop these for a number of surface treatments.

I often work with industrial suppliers and craftspeople and have delivered laser cut, stitched, woven, etched and printed designs on a huge range of materials and surfaces. These custom patterns can create an immediate impact or add unexpected detail to a product or environment.

CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT, SPECIFICATION & DELIVERY.

Whether putting together schemes from existing materials to create something that feels totally new, designing completely bespoke materials and finishes or something in-between - I can accommodate any scope within time and budget.

I enjoy working as part of an interdisciplinary team to deliver outstanding results through close collaboration. Clear communication of design direction and detailed, easy to read specifications are key to a successful outcome.

I have experience in developing projects from concept to reality, doing this without compromise, ensuring that the signed off design direction is delivered to a high standard.
