Kate M Talk colour

 


Kate is an experienced independant consultant specialising in colour, material & finish design and development, trend insight and forecasting. She is highly creative and experienced in delivering CMF schemes for Automotive, Aviation, Rail, Interior & Product Design projects and has an MA in Textile Design from the Royal College of Art. 

As an independent CMF designer, Kate has consulted on projects in automotive, private aviation, commercial aviation, consumer electronics and rail. Kate has also spoken and tutored at the Royal College of Art as a visiting lecturer on the Textiles MA course and participates in round table discussions on colour and material trends and insight at Colour Hive for Mix Magazine. Kate has recently curated an exhibition for ArtHouse Jersey, a charitable trust which endeavours to support local and international artists to create work and deliver experiences that will positively impact the island's community. Skipton Big Ideas: Where Waste Meets Design opened in June 2022 and ran for 7 weeks. 

Kate worked as a senior member of the CMF team at PriestmanGoode until December 2018 - working on a wide range of projects in transport, product and industrial design. Prior to PriestmanGoode, Kate worked in the design department at Aston Martin Lagonda.
